What to do if your car idles below 500 and shakes/stops in traffic Posted - 07 January Jan

A few tips based on previous discussions:

Clean the throttle body
Pour octane booster / fuel system cleaner into the tank when almost empty, then fill with fuel.
Check / change your PCV Valve
Check / change the O ring on your dip stick
Check the quality of your spark plugs
Check your fuel filter and pump
Check / change your throttle body IAC Valve
Clean EGR valve
Check / change the oxygen sensor

PS: Always start with the simplest solutions first.
